Our client, a global architecture firm, is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join their team. This is a company that has worldwide presence, they specialize in building architecture, interior design, workplace strategies, etc. They work in main industry verticals from aviation, healthcare, datacenter, and more.

They are growing their Infrastructure team, ideally looking for someone who is skilled with Windows and VMware technologies. This role will be joining a medium sized team, focusing on building scaling their virtual machines, modernizing their Windows environment, and helping shore up their data storage.

Their environment consists of VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, SAN/NAS, Entra, MCM, M365, and Azure. Any experience on the networking side would be a plus – Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, etc.

This is a full-time role, salary will be around $100-120K plus a bonus. Our client is in-office Monday-Friday, providing flexible work schedules. It will be onsite in the Dallas office, which is their headquarters.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 6-8+ years of IT experience – systems engineering/administration ideally.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructures.

  • Ability to do a mix of systems and network administration.

  • Hands on with Windows, VMware, and Azure.

  • Helping to scale their overall Windows and virtual machines.

  • Strong working knowledge of data storage – SAN/NAS/vSAN, etc. 

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Bachelors or Masters in an IT related field is a plus.

    • Any networking experience would be a plus – Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto.

    • Strong communication and written skills, as this will be a highly collaborative role.

    The Offer
